We decided at short notice to go to Granada and Cordoba for a break. We wanted to avoid flying but were concerned about the paperwork and connection issues with rail travel. French Railways went into meltdown owing to two fires which cut off Provence, and TGV officials could give us no useful information. We contacted Byway who calmly and quickly swung into action, re-arranged our hotel and rail tickets, and kept us informed all the way through. Reassured, all we had to do was continue to enjoy Nimes!
