An engineer, Alex R (from Fulham depot) was sent as a first responder when we detected a gas leak at our premises in Kensington. I am astounded at the level of care and time put into this work. Many years ago under the same circumstances an engineer, from British Gas, arrived, switched off my gas appliance, was polite and kind, and left. Alex went above and beyond this. He identified the problem, switched off my faulty appliance, then stayed for over an hour making sure that my flat, and the entire building, were safely vented from the gas that had leaked from my appliance. You'd think that would be enough... but no. Alex checked my status, whether I was vulnerable, if I would need any more assistance and if assistance could be applied for. I am absolutely amazed at the level of service provided by this engineer from this company. If I could give 10 stars I would. 100 stars would not convey just how good this engineer was! I think I may have got lucky with the engineer but I cannot fault Cadent, as he explained how the service directs him to conduct his work.
