I contacted Cadent through the emergency number in my meter box.They were with me within a few hours, detected the leak and made safe.The engineer directed me back to my supplier and when he heard I was struggling with them, he went the extra mile and spoke to them on my behalf. The engineer was brilliant. Professional, courteous and explained things to me in a way I understood. I am quite nervous around anything to do with gas.A few days later I had a courtesy call from Cadent to see if everything was in working order. He was brilliant too. Fantastic service.As I was post op, after a full hip replacement, Cadent arranged an oil filled radiator, an electric throw and a long hot water bottle to be delivered the next day as it was unclear how long my gas was going to be off. It arrived next day. I was extremely grateful as my gas was off for a few more days due to follow on services with other companies.Why can't all gas suppliers/contractors be as professional and caring as Cadent.
