When I noticed the smell of gas when I opened the door to the meter, I phoned up to report it, and a lovely bloke called Dave arrived within the hour as promised. He checked all around the bungalow with his detector inside and out. The leak was coming from the regulator, which he repaired in no time. He then checked that all the gas appliances were working correctly, and even put a new battery in the gas fire for the ignition. He was polite, friendly and professional.
