I'm absolutely disgusted at how they have treated my mother - and elderly woman and vulnerable woman. We had an issue in our building where one of the flats had a gas leak so they shut off all the hot water to the building. We are at the top of the building and the issue with lower down. As a result I was helping my mother out fill kettles and pans to provide hot water for the duration of this period, the works were slow to say the last and being at the top of the building means we were the last to get serviced. They advised us that we would get compensation which we did, however there was a discrepancy as we had out services of for virtually a day longer than the rest of the building. I queried this issue to which they gave me a fob off (it's the same for everyone) - this was not the case - if what the same for everyone one did one other flat receive an extra day - which presumably had been earmarked for our flat (the number was the same reversed) I'm sure this was a clerical error. I last called and spoke to someone to investigate about 3-4 weeks ago now and still haven't heard back. They care nothing for the mental health of a elderly lady that's for sure, they are a corporation after all. The small fry are meaningless in the bigger picture.
