My experience with Cadent has been very good and then very bad. I have called them because there was a smell of gas. The call has been taken straight away and the engineer attended almost immediately. He found a gas leak not in my premises but just outside under the pavement. He advise they needed to cut off the gas supply and dig the pavement out to repair the pipe. So far everything was great and the engineer was very professional and friendly and kept me updated step by step. The problem became when the second crew arrived to carry out the work. An arrogant engineer expecting you to be there and then every time he needs, to let them in and out. Saying they will come early morning to work on the road and arriving at 9:30 demanding to have access when I had to go to work. And this is 2 days after the gas has been cut off. Not even an apology that we didn’t have gas, hot water, heating, cooker for that long. They need a big training in customer service
