If i could give no stars i would. Cut off whilst on holiday for 11 days. Whilst i had to make numerous phone calls and complaints to even get information. This arose from “routine” gas pipe replacement. Communication was non existent Or very poor. The actual engineers were polite professional however the gas pipe replacement teams were unprofessional, had no respect for property. Was given a £200 “goodwill” gesture which according to form for 11 days without gas doesnt cover the usual compensation. I feel I have been treated like a fool and deliberately treated poorly for complaining which I had every right to do considering there was nothing wrong with My supply before you came. Ended up with a gas meter move, pipe work running up the side of my house. Tarmac which I’ll be amazed if it lasts 1 year. Broken kerb stones On my flower border and my border filled with hardcore that I’m now going to have to dig out to replant my flowers you pulled out. 10 complaints apparently in total from 4 streets. Speaks volumes. Also would not bother speaking to site managers as they are good at doing the talk but will not have courtesy to speak face to face when things go wrong. My advice do not let cadent or Balfour beatty anywhere near your property. They just don’t care.
