We’ve had an incredible experience with a local cake service in our area. They excel at customizing cakes to perfectly meet our needs for every occasion, and their turnaround time is consistently impressive. We’ve never had any issues with the customizations we requested, whether it was for a child’s birthday, an anniversary, or any other event. The cakes are not only visually stunning but also incredibly delicious, super spongy, and full of flavor, making each celebration even more special. It’s always our preferred choice for all our celebration needs. The team is extremely welcoming, friendly, and polite, which enhances the overall experience. Highly recommended!
Absolutely shocking experience. Paid £16 delivery for a cake that was meant to be delivered by 8pm and it never turned up. No one answered the phones or emails. They take your money and then that’s it. Totally ruined my husbands birthday evening. Steer clear of this company
My husband is an in patient at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital at Stanmore. His birthday is today - 13 October ~ and the local Cakes and Bakes have just delivered a coffee and walnut cake to the hospital. The cake is DELICIOUS and has been shared across the ward! Thank you so much for making this happen and giving him a lovely birthday surprise
Cakes from this place are so tasty(specially if you select the option with eggs and butter) but at the same time not so sweet at all,that for me hits the spot, this is my new bakery to order any kind of cake from now on!Would give a 5 star but the delivery,while i paid for a time slot of 9.00 to 15.00 came not between that time but at 15.10,i understand that it could be busy,so i would ask for a cheaper deleivery fee for a time slot.
Ordered online at Epsom store. Went to collect the cakes for our daughter’s birthday and the shop is now an independent cake shop and they do not have our order. Cakes and bakes never contacted us or told us what would happen and have also not refunded us. So depending on your opinion, this is blatant fraud and the company should be shut down.
