Didn’t work for us and felt like even more of a failure! After umming and erring for months whether to buy this plan, we did after saving some money to do it. We really had tried everything so this was the last resort. We have now tried for a couple of months and our baby is still taking short naps, wakes in the night, and wakes early! We followed their plan to the T and really did throw everything at it to make it work, disappointingly for us, it hasn’t changed or made our baby sleep “11-12” hours a night, like they love to tell you! After this has not worked for us, I now feel like even more of a failure when they love to tell you how it works for ‘everyone’. I feel like they are brilliant marketers, know how to target exhausted, sleep deprived and depressed mothers and get you to part with your very little maternity pay to sell you a dream! (Pardon the pun - if only it did allow me to dream). They come across as wanting to support you with your needs at heart but I really do just think they are selling a great marketing ploy. When I contacted them to ask for help, they were very vague with their answers, and then reccommend I buy 1-1 support. It feels like they just want you to buy one more thing, and dangle that carrot in front of you, promising to solve everything each time. I have not paid for 1-1 support, so maybe that is something which will ‘fix’ us, but I was under the impression that the plan would have done that anyway. So I am not prepared to pay even more money. I feel like you only hear the success stories from them, but maybe they would be more relatable if they actually gave you REAL life examples of their plan not working, and then what they have done to help that! As at the moment, I just see lots of reels saying how exhausted one mother was, and then she wasn’t two days later - but what about those mothers who are still exhausted? Have you thought about them in your posts Calm & Bright? As at the moment you are contributing to my feelings as being a massive failure. If you are thinking of buying this plan, it might work for you, but also remember every baby is different, and I do not feel this is addressed in their plan. There is no ‘one size fits all’. It is very much a modified Ferber method, so maybe try that before parting with your hard earned cash. For context: My baby is 11 months old. Sleeps in his cot for all naps and night time sleep. Is breast fed and was cosleeping for the first 7 months. We have a great bedtime routine, good room environment (pitch black, good temp, white noise), he goes to bed well fed, no health concerns. So feel like we’re doing everything we can!
