We flew to Cambodia for the first time from Ho Chi Minh City. Each of us was entitled to 23kg of checked luggage, 7kg of carry-on luggage, and a small backpack/handbag. When we went to check in, we were told that our small luggage had to go in the plane’s hold and could not be carried on as hand luggage. We put all the heavy items in the small suitcases to make our backpacks lighter. Since we had to hand everything in together, we thought they wouldn’t make a fuss, as is usually the case with other airlines.However, this was the first time an airline insisted on weighing the small luggage, and of course, we were over the 7kg limit. We were immediately charged $65, which had to be paid in cash. We noticed that many other people had to do the same. They are absolute thieves! This is the first and last time we will fly with them, and we will strongly advise against this airline to family and friends. They are purely money-driven!
