My husband and I used to order a lot from Camile Thai. We really loved the food and my husband being vegan, that was one of the few places in Belfast that actually offered decent vegan options. Some time last year they increased the spice level so the dishes became too hot for me so I stopped ordering for me and continued ordered for my husband as he enjoys the food from this place.. maybe this restaurant fell victim of its success but the delivery times just kept increasing over the past year.. we received cold food a couple of times and we had to wait 3 hours for our last order.. 1 hour for the preparation time and then the delivery was late for 2 hours.. the food finally arrived around 11pm.. cold of course but my husband was absolutely starving at that stage so he just ate it.. we did not have any food in the house because we were just coming back from a long holiday and we could not even cancel and go with a different restaurant and by 9pm, which was when the food was supposed to arrive, most restaurants had closed so we could not order from somewhere else. Durning that time, I tried to call the restaurant multiple times, the phone rings 3 times then they hang up.. we could not speak to anybody from the restaurant.. we contacted Deliveroo as well and they were pretty much unhelpful because the restaurant arranges their own delivery so nothing Deliveroo can do.. they just said it's on its way.. it was a terrible experience and I won't be ordering from this restaurant again.. it's a pity though because the food was good.. if you don't mind your food being delivered cold 2 hours later, stick with them...
