We rented the Paradise Family 5 campervan from Camperman for four weeks to travel along the East Coast of Australia. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend either the company or the vehicle.The condition of the campervan was very poor from the beginning. It leaked through the windows when it rained, the cushions were musty and old, and the fridge stopped working after just one week – meaning we were unable to store or cool our food for the rest of the trip. Additionally, the sliding door couldn’t be opened from the inside right from the start, which led to us getting stuck inside the van.There was a seemingly endless list of defects and issues. We had trouble with the vehicle almost every single day, turning what should have been a relaxing trip into a frustrating and stressful experience.Even worse than the condition of the van was the customer service. It was by far the worst we have experienced with any rental company. The staff were unfriendly, unhelpful, and completely unwilling to offer any kind of solution or assistance during our trip.We would never book a camper through this company again and cannot recommend Camperman to anyone planning a road trip in Australia. It was a highly disappointing and unprofessional experience.
