MerdeWe used CAMPING-CAR PARK for a few years with reasonable satisfaction until we wanted to spend the night at Naarden marina on June 16, 2025. When we arrived at the gate, the check-in system was not working for unclear reasons. After trying again for fifteen minutes, it suddenly worked by using “reserve.” The next morning, we immediately contacted them via WhatsApp to report the difficulties and cancel the unintended reservation (PRIVILEGES), because that resulted in a subscription of €29/YEAR.Due to the costs of PRIVILEGES, I had to add extra credit to the card in order to leave the marina. After at least twenty unpleasant WhatsApp messages, phone calls, and emails, CAMPING-CAR PARK remained adamant and insisted that I was stuck with the subscription. Finally, on July 1, 2025, out of frustration with the way I was being treated, I canceled my subscription after being assured in a phone call that the €80.21 balance on my card would be refunded within a few days. Nothing could be further from the truth. With each subsequent contact (at least another 15-20 phone calls, emails, and WhatsApp messages), I was given different instructions on how to get the balance refunded. On July 14, 2025, I suddenly received an email asking how it was possible that there were two users with card number 100 245 686. I was asked if I had two subscriptions... Today, August 30, 2025, 10 weeks later, I have given up all hope. I am still waiting for the card balance of €80.21 and a refund for the PRIVILEGES subscription of €29.00.What an extremely unfriendly, poorly organized, unprofessional, and extremely inflexible organization.As the French say, “merde”!
