What a pleasure it was working with, and getting to know, Cammie Bertram of Campus Direction! Our son knew early on that he wanted to attend boarding school and we began working with Cammie when he was in 7th grade. As parents, we went to public High School, so we felt like we were flying blind in looking at boarding schools prior to meeting Cammie. Cammie was invaluable in educating us on the wide variety of opportunities, the qualities, cultures and unique personality that every school has. From assisting with interview strategies, to making sure the schools have a good understanding of your child prior to visits, to helping with essays and applications, Cammie does it all. After a long journey of visits, interviews and essays, our son got into many schools, including his top choices. We were able to narrow it down to 2 schools and were nervous about the final decision. Cammie told us we would just know after revisiting. She was right! The final choice was obvious to us and our son and we have so much confidence that he has found the right new “home” for his next 4 years. I can’t imagine what it would have been like, or where he would have ended up if it weren’t for Cammie. Cammie! from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much, you are amazing.

Cammie @ Campus Direction is the GOAT. I mean it. Seriously. A kinder, more genuine, more helpful, more knowledgeable, more connected, harder working educational consultant you will not find, no matter where and how hard you look. Her service is invaluable. Is it pricey to hire an educational consultant? Yes. But with Cammie, do you get your value x infinity? Also yes! I truly don’t think I could have navigated the boarding school application process for my daughter without her. I was a typical stressed and clueless “first timer” and I felt like I was in over my head and had no idea where to even begin. Enter Cammie. She knows everything about every school, and if you happen to have a question she doesn’t already know the answer to, she will use her plethora of contacts to find the answer before you can blink twice. I was, I’m pretty sure, on the upper end of the “annoying” scale as far as clients go, but she never made me feel that way. For reference, we visited 10 schools and applied to 8, 3 of which we applied to AFTER THE DEADLINE, which we were only able to do because of Cammie, we saved nearly all of our essay writing for the last few weeks before the deadline (I do not recommend this tactic, lol), and had about 1.1 million questions about every single tiny little detail along the way. Yeah. And there’s more, but you haven’t got all day. Do it. Just hire her. You will not regret it. She will hold your hand as much or as little as you need, answer your zillions of questions, take the time to get to know you and your amazing kid, advocate tirelessly on your behalf, and see you across the finish line. Oh, and not for nothing, but my daughter got into all EIGHT schools that she applied to, most of which were really top schools. Coincidence? We’ll never know. ;)
Five stars all the way. Period. There we were, in 2022 with our 12 year-old son seeking for the next best step in his academic journey. We knew we were a little bit early (or so we thought) but wanted to start thinking ahead… Our family has enjoyed the privilege of Cammy’s support for years.
