I use medical cannabis for chronic pain conditions & unable to afford a expensive private prescription. After trying many harmful pharmaceuticals cannabis has been much more beneficial. I had an orginal cancard & I'm waiting for my new one to arrive, although I've not needed to present my card yet it has reduced my anxiety when I have cannabis on me or need to use public to show I have a medical condition & it's also helpful to show people if they are uneducated on the use of medical cannabis, it also helps to not waste police time & resources.
The process is easy to follow and its great to have the live app on the go that is connected to your profile which you can access if needed and also becomes active while you wait for your card. You'll need your nhs number and supporting medical evidence but the Cancard customer service were great & helped with any questions I had and were promt to reply. Great invention and £29 for a year membership is worth the peace of mind.
