Prince by candlelight Oxford Town Hall 2nd April 2026:This was the 3rd gig we have been to at the town hall but unfortunately this one was a little disappointing 🙁 the musicians and singers were obviously very good but unfortunately the sound was appalling, Prince songs have some of the best drum sounds I have ever heard, but the electric drums on this night could not be heard so I couldn’t tell you what the drums sounded like and the singers although very good would’ve been better suited to a Motown tribute, and where was the Guitar?🎸 I have always said it doesn’t matter how good you are if the sounds not right you’ve got no chance,Unfortunately, disappointing, but we made the best of it and still had a good night 🤷♂️
