I reached out to Aztec's customer service team with concerns that I may have received a mislabeled scent in my order of Baja Cactus Blossom fragrance oil. I received the following response from Travis with the Aztec team: "Looks like you got 1lb bottles of this and just wanted to start with this. Fragrance oils are bottled by a huge machine in lots of 140lbs at a time. We never bottle 1lb bottles by themselves and are all done in very large batches. We haven't heard from anyone else about this fragrance and every bottle we have on the shelf is correct. We did change almost every fragrance over the past year as we dropped Agilex as a supplier. We picked replacements based on our personal preference of which of our other 3 manufacturers we liked the best. We sent out TONS of emails and notifcations of this change over the 8 months it took us to change over. The new fragrances very well can smell slightly different than previously, but should not be a huge change. Also, we have not yet this year had any fragrance that has been tested as wrong in the 1lb bottle size. This just isn't really possible in how we bottle fragrance without the whole batch being wrong which doesn't appear to be the case. If you still believe this is bad you can send it back to us and we will send it off to the lab to have tested. This takes some time and again so far we haven't had any in forever that have been wrong as almost every step is automated from manufacturing to bottling at our facility. I'll post our address below and please let me know what you would like to do. I hate for people to spend money on freight and the hassle to have something test as correct."Disappointing and dismissive response to my concern after having each member of my team compare the smell of the fragrance oil from my first order of the scent to the second order of the fragrance oil. The second order smelled like butterscotch or toffee. Whether the mistake is mine or Aztec's, I definitely felt the tone of Aztec's response was negative, and obviously, the message dismissive.
