Primroses arrived in very poor condition, with lots of mouldy flowers. I tidied the plants up, and there were very few flowers left - couldn't see any buds. And the blue primroses I ordered are more like a faded purple. I complained to Carbeth, who say "I’m sorry to hear you’re disappointed with the primroses. At this time of year, primroses are nearing the end of their flowering season, so it is quite normal for the flowers to appear tired or begin to go over. From what you’ve described, it sounds like the blooms are simply spent rather than mouldy, which can unfortunately affect their appearance. The plants themselves should still be healthy, and with a tidy up (removing the spent flowers), they will continue to grow and can flower again in future seasons."Very disappointed, and I'm unlikely to use them again.
