I did the Safeguarding Children Level 3 training and it was truly very bad. The slides seemed to have been generated by an old LLM, with frequently garbled sentences. In some places sections had clearly been paraphrased from other websites by replacing key words (using "damage" instead of "harm") which sometimes resulted in really absurd statements, such as saying that "Coaches and running shoes" need to be aware of safeguarding within sports, which I can only assume was paraphrasing "Coaches and trainers". Mistakes like this gave the worrying impression that no human being has actually even proof read the course content. This is important technical information where actually understanding what your legal duties are is essential, but with this course I was often left guessing and having to do my own research online to fill in the gaps. Sometimes this meant finding the original pages that had been paraphrased for the slides, which was significantly more useful than the course itself. The self-assessment exercises were also far too complex for the course content, asking how to deal with very difficult scenarios that couldn't realistically be answered based on the learning. And the structure was a mess, with lots of irrelevant detail that felt like filler. Overall, this was an extremely low quality product and a waste of money.
