I ordered a workshop manual from 'carmanuals.org', for my Toyota Verso, order no. 104532, and at the time of ordering the website said the order had been received. I paid by debit card and the payment was taken immediately by a company called 'Auto Tech Publications' in American dollars. I received no email acknowledgement and despite efforts to contact the company by their 'chat' line, on several occasions, which no-one answered, and by email to their 'help' line, no communication has been received from them whatsoever.Having given my debit card number to an apparently scam company, I had to cancel the card which I felt was compromised.This is a company which will take your money with no intention of delivering the subject of your order, which in my case was just a download of a workshop manual.7/2/23 Update.After posting this review I received an email from workshopmanuals.co, which said simply 'refunded', no explanation or apologies, just 'refunded', and to be fair, it has been refunded.
