12/18/2024 we are the Kent's and we were celebrating our 31st anniversary. We had zero waiting to be seated even though the place looked packed. We immediately fell in love with the pleasant community feel. Our waiter a young man, I can't recall his name. He asked the occasion for our visit and my wife mentioned anniversary ( no mention of years). He said can I get you some drinks, we said sure. He said can I get you some water will you decide. We said absolutely thank you. He came back with water and we gave him our drink order and an appetizer. So a couple of minutes later our appetizer arrives and he had to apologize drinks weren't ready & said the bartender was new. So the young man said I'll go check on your drinks. Well he came back and apologized and said I'll let the owner know. In the next couple of minutes our meal arrives and our drinks. Then we take our first bite and a gentleman arrived at our table. He wanted to apologize for our drink wait and said I want to make it up to you. I am the owner and your meal is on me tonight. The only thing is I can't cover alcohol, so we said Thank you. After a few minutes the young man came and checked on us, we said the food is great thank you. So we got our bill a short time later for $28 and tipped the young man $20. The place is great, the food even better.
