I have been living 6 years in a London flat managed by Carter Jonas (Cambridge branch).The agency is the worst you can find on the market. Slow to fix issues in the flat, short notice for insurance or routine visits.They usually complain if you call a plumber or carpenter to fix urgent house problems. They also complain when you try to fix problems by yourself (even if you sort it out better than a professional).During the tenancy, I wrote a list of problems in the flat (tilings, noise, wall paint, etc.) and I kindly submitted it to the agent asking to fix what was possible to fix. Nothing happened for years!Last but not least, after 6 years of tenancy, they asked me to make the flat vacant because they wanted to relist it at a higher price (+20% higher), telling me it was for a tanancy safety reason and not for money!
