Pretty disappointing overall.Our agent didn't particularly negotiate on our behalf and it felt like he was trying to please our buyers rather than do a good job for us. We didn't hear anything from him for 3 months after we accepted an offer, yet our seller's estate agent was in touch with us every few weeks to make sure things were on track. I eventually called our agent at the point of our purchase/sale almost falling through. He was oblivious to any problems we were having, hadn't been in touch with the chain or our solicitor or us. Over all it felt like paying for an online listing that we could have done easily ourselves. A significant amount of money for very little return. Go with an online agent and save yourself many thousands of pounds.
