No Communication After Payment Made

I am sharing the facts of my experience with Marco Rodriguez. I paid a substantial amount to Marco Rodriguez Consulting for a 16 week ad consultation project. The service was largely left unfinished due to Marco being not responsive, and he ignored my refund request.During our consultation, Marco consistently ignored my emails and messages. I sent him multiple emails and messages over the course of more than a month and he would never respond. After more than a month of silence, he finally responded and assured me to address the issues. I quickly followed up within a few hours with a simple request for access setup. Even with such a simple question and his promise to fix the issue, he did not respond. After another ten days of silence of Marco, I informed him I would escalate the issue to our payment provider if he did not reply. He promised again to fix the issue. This occurred during the 12th week of our 16-week ad consultation. Despite our contract guaranteeing meetings approximately every 1.5 to 2 weeks, only one meeting had been held by that point, whereas at least six meetings should have occurred according to the contract.After Marco promised to fix the issue, we had our second meeting and I have never heard back from him ever since. Only two meetings took place, and without my persistent follow-ups and escalation warnings, even the second meeting would not have happened. According to the contract, there should have been at least eight meetings in total.The project was largely left unfinished, and no effort was made to deliver the remaining services we had agreed upon.In June this year, I requested a partial refund for the unfinished work. After initially ignoring my first refund request emails, Marco eventually replied after I informed him I would escalate the matter. He refused to refund but offered to provide the service again. I declined it because he repeatedly promised and broke it in the past. I insisted on a refund and have never gotten any reply from him. I sent him seven emails on different dates but he did not respond. I’m sharing my story to help others make informed decisions about the business. Marco Rodriguez was very enthusiastic and proactive before I paid for the service. For example, he made a video about what can be improved on my website before I paid for anything, After I paid for the service, he became unavailable. He was still very active on YouTube and Reddit when he ignored my emails, which I found frustrating. Please be extra cautious about online business. After you make a wire transfer, it can be difficult to get your money back. Some online businesses may look legitimate but do not deliver the product/service after payment. Update 11/11: Marco later disputed my review on another website, claiming that no services had been rendered and no contract existed between us. However, I successfully verified my review by providing evidence of the services initiated. This contradiction between the facts and his claim highlights the difficulties and lack of accountability I encountered in my interactions with this service provider. It is concerning to witness such a denial of a paid contractual agreement.
