As a first time user I had to ring a couple of times to check the process, initially as the ad offered me an accurate valuation, then took me through the process of uploading the details for sale - I was confused by the direct to sale process before any valuation was given but not a big issue. The process thereafter was great until the dealer arrived and offered £1750 lower than the reserve reached at auction. This was mainly due to wheel scuffs as I had only mentioned 1 wheel which was the worst, but pictured all albeit not focussing on the edge scuffs as thought this was normal on a 5 year old car. This was completely unexpected and I felt opportunistic, also mentioning some other points which were irrelevant and unproven.
We eventually after alot of haggling settled at £950 off which is loads more than the wheels cost to renovate but I needed to sell the car. There needs to be a clear warning of this as consumers feel under pressure to go with the offer when on site and this result is not what the offering says on the tin. I could have withdrawn and sold on Auto Trader but had spent time and effort, had this been more sign posted by Carwow then I would have been more careful to chose my pitch.
