We have had the most unfortunate experience with the moving company we used last week (CBD Movers Auckland) I personally was verbally mistreated by their employees while moving my items. We felt so intimidated while asking to move one of the items that we declared to be picked up. They simply refused to take it and told me that it was my mistake as they don’t handle those items without a box and that I better took it in my car with the rest of the stuff they didn’t want to take! Not saying the amateur service which damaged our precious new flooring and furniture. This option will cost you more at the end. AVOID THEM AT ALL!In their Ts & Cs - the include a clause that required us to report any damage before the movers actually left the property. Reporting directly to customer services after we had a chance to inspect it wasn’t acceptable to them, and they have washed their hands of any liability.UPDATE 4/Feb/2026: it only took 4 years and 1 month to get some feedback back from them. Thanks, though.
