Ho hum.....

This place is home to some of the most f*d up health care offerings I've ever experienced. I've had better rural, small town, services. Honestly, so far, the entire health care process in LaVergne, TN., has been dubious at best. However, re: Centerwell...First visit ended up being a day that the weather turned 5"-6" snow and still snowing. Called Centerwell because I got a "Are you going to be here" type message. I was reassured by the answering rep that, yes indeed, we are open. Get to the office, IT'S CLOSED! Called and was told, "Oh...due to weather, all our offices are closed'.First visit!Since, there have been wrong referrals, i.e., sent to a cardiologist instead of a vascular provider. Wasted trip and when cardio guy calls Centerwell, they freely admitted mistake. They'll ask me questions about past med services for which I have provided past med service information, including contact info, signed papers permitting contact, etc., i.e., I had to finally get med records myself from a service in GA.Today, I am trying to log in to the patient portal to see "new results" from recent tests. Cannot log in because no "CODE" is being provided for access. Not a big deal as there is nothing life threatening going on. Just more crap added to a growing list of crap.Mind you, as stated, health care here locally has been scary (don't even get me started on Premier Radiology...or being worn out with notices to "make an appointment" with eyecare folx only to be told that no openings were available for 3-4 months, etc...etc..), so it's apparently not limited to the Centerwell folx. Hell, the 1st med service I visited, with a constant, hacking cough, but more to establish health care as I was new to the area, gave me a pneumonia shot, said thank you very much, sent me on my way with zero physical observations. Two week later, after finally visiting a walk in clinic (who cared enough to send me for a chest xray), I discover that I actually have pneumonia. The only thing that keeps me going to CW is that I have to go somewhere. Also, I trust, and like, my personal care provider.FWIW, this is a personal view of the local, Smyrna, TN., Centerwell operations only! Other CW's may be better.Good luck!
