British Gas Lite are the worst company I have ever dealt with. They are ACTUALLY fraudulent, despite baring the name 'BRITISH'. They did not inform us our contract ended, even when I spoke to them and questioned our high bill. They then held us and our account TO RANSOM, not allowing us to go elsewhere. They did not take our complaint seriously. Finally, were took it to THE ENERGY OMBUDSMEN. Who set out 4 resolution steps. They have ignored us, and our emails and actually now OWE US money, yet ignoring us and still proceeding to send threatening letters claiming we owe £1200. The accepted the resolutions from the ENERGY OMBUDSMEN, but have not stuck to the terms of it. They have caused nothing but stress and upset in the past year. They only have 'live chat' which never works. So you have no way of actually contacting the. No phone number. STAY WELL AWAY. My next step is legal action against them, where we will be claiming for compensation.
