Avoid legal cover...really disappointed with CETAs legal cover...this is an additional paid add on and should give comfort if unfortunatley you require support...in my instance I required support for a tribunal ( part of the paid policy )...what they do not tell you is that any claim is shipped out to a company called ARC legal ( not a law firm ) who are middle men and " assess" your claim before then approving or unapproving your legal ( balance of probability ) chances....this process is painfully slow, repetitive and time consuming whilst you are hanging in the balance for a " yes" or " no" answer ..looking at Arc legals reviews regarding tribunals the reaponses are generally poor ... in my instance I am already very far down the line, tribunal date given, potential settlement,ACAS involvement and all I am asking for is legal advice / support regarding a solicitor to solicitor communication ( in my case a drafted letter )...instead I have been sent a full pack to complete asking for data sensitive information that I would not risk sending to a third party....surely depending where you are with your legal case should determine whether you have start from the very beginning again? I require legal support not a long drawn out application to see if I get it, I am already at the final stage ....no wonder why people give up and just pay the solicitors fees themselves..
