Use another broker. John Charcol were dodgy in my experience.Doped me as a customer for no reason just as my offer was accepted. Withdrew mortgage offer which also affected my credit score. NO REASONS GIVEN.The recommended a conveyancer with was later suspended by SRA. So also got screwed with that. Nice one JC. Cheers for the stress, damage to credit score and now out of pocket as I had to get another solicitor to sort out the issues.XYZ Law also tried to charge me for services already paid for.The "Partner" at JC was a decent bloke, but they gave no shits about the customer. Just another number. Don't give your business to these kind of companies. I ended up with an independent broker which I found to be my saviour.
