Chargeplace Scotland are a shambolic mess when it comes to customer service. I am from Australia and had an EV booked for the month I was there. I am very used to driving an EV. My wife and I planned on doing the NC500 and needed to be able to charge. The advice from CPS was to obtain a RFID card. Firstly you can not download their app from overseas. Secondly there was no option for a shipping address so the card was sent to Australia. I applied a month before travel and the card arrived the day before we left to fly to UK. Too late I had ordered a RFID card from octopus Electroverse which can be used at CPS chargers.I tried to delete my account with CPS. Eventually found a form hidden in the CPS FAQ's and sent it off. Supposed to take 7 days. A month later as we were about to leave UK I rang and asked about deletion of account. The fellow on the phone was very friendly and assured me that the account would be deleted by end of day. Heard nothing more but a few days later i tried to log in to CPS and was told that password was incorrect. I assume that this meant my account was deleted but do not know. More emails to CPS to find out if account has been deleted. Not holding my breath for any response. If you are travelling Scotland use Octopus Electroverse. Do NOT bother with CPS. Shambolic.
