Absolute Nightmare - Left 28 Students Stranded at 5 AM
I booked a charter for 28 students with luggage, and it was a complete disaster.
No-Show & Zero Communication: The bus never arrived. I received no call from CharterUP or the driver. The first contact number they gave me was non-existent; the second was the bus company owner who didn't even apologize.
Extreme Financial Burden: I had to call 8 Ubers/Lyfts last minute to get students to their flights, costing me an additional $2,355.29 out of pocket.
Flawed Policy: They only provide driver info 3 hours before the trip, which is useless for large group coordination. I’ve had issues before where drivers went to the wrong location due to their poor system.
Insulting Compensation: Despite the massive stress and financial loss, they only offered a 20% credit.
Avoid CharterUP if you need a reliable service. They do not take responsibility for their vendors' failures and offer zero protection for their customers.
