While I passed the exam, I feel the cheetah prep course was lacking in a couple areas.1) during the course, the instructor repeatedly insisted the cheetah prep questions to be more difficult than the actual exam questions. I believe this to be a false statement. Secondly, the questions do not adequately represent what you experience on the exam. The mind map and mind mapping exercises; however, proved very beneficial for exam prep.2) The instructor was more of a facilitator than an instructor. Any questions that arose were met with the same coined response of “this is simply our submission” and it was very difficult to have any type of intelligent/critical-thinking based discussion. If anything deviated from the verbatim wording of the PMBoK or cheetah material, the instructor could not answer any questions around the logic behind PMI’s way. This made it very difficult to mentally connect with the material.
