I attended Cheetah Learning on the recommendation of my mentor who attended over 15 years ago. My preparation for the exam consisted solely of cheetah learning activities. The virtual class was engaging and I felt well prepared for the test on Day 5. I passed my PMP first try thanks for Cheetah learning! I highly recommend.
Cheetah Learning's PMP Exam Prep course is an intense four days but you'll appreciate it after passing the PMP exam.Be prepared to fully dedicate yourself the week of the course, as well as setting aside the time to complete all the headstart activities before the class officially kicks off. The Cheetah method will embed the PMP guidelines into your memory, explain the hows and whys, and provide clarity on how the exam is setup and how to work through it without getting overwhelmed. (I'm still recalling the memory map weeks later.)The first half of the course I was in information overload; by the third day it clicked. Suspend your disbelief and trust their process -- it works.
I found this boot camp to be intense but extremely helpful! A couple piece of feedback. 1) I would have preferred that an overview had been given at the start of the course about the memory map. (these are the processes, this is how you're going to use them etc.) and if you did give an overview, I don't remember so maybe move it to the end of day one. 2) Spend more time on PMIs stance/posture. A lot of times I had trouble identifying what the correct PMI answer was because I didn't know who they were as an entity. Are they traditionalists, innovative, by-the-book, giving etc.
