When I bought my car from here, I dealt with Tony. He was friendly, polite and had a relaxed approach. I didn't feel pressured into a decision and wanted to buy it after I'd taken it for a test drive.My luck being my luck, the car broke down 3 weeks in. As it was still under their 30-day warranty, it had to be collected from my address to be repaired back in Chepstow. The positive experience I had with this - the car was collected the same day I called (later in the evening) and was fixed the following day. The negative I took from it was the guy I spoke to originally wanted me to get the car to them, approximately 35 miles away, but with some reluctance did arrange collection once I'd pointed out it wasn't possible to drive the car to them. I was also asked to use my AA breakdown cover (you can activate free 12 months cover when you purchase a car from this garage) to get the car there, but it clearly states the cover is for 1/4 mile away from your home and will only take you and your car to the nearest garage. Once I'd established this also wasn't possible, then collection was arranged. It felt like if I hadn't said anything, it would have been left at "ok, get the car to us" and I would have been stuck with a broken-down carI would also point out that I had to arrange transport to go and collect the car once it was fixed, I would have appreciated if it was delivered back to me, but maybe that extra mile is too much to ask.All in all, the actual purchasing experience was a pleasant experience. The customer service when dealing with a problem within the warranty period, could be better. However, with that being said, they did what was expected and got the issue sorted.An honest 3 star rating from my experience.
