I have bought a refurbished Mac before (from another source) however I was wary to commit again as I have read mixed reviews about this sector including some very bad experiences for some. I wanted a machine in good condition, with strong battery life and for a good price too. Sometimes hard to get all three! I liked the sound of Cheshire Macs as they seemed like a friendly local business with real people you could consult with and a good after sales/repair service. I saw one I liked and was able to speak on the phone with someone quickly. I placed an order for a Grade A machine and it arrived the next working day. So far I’m incredibly pleased. Just one very small scratch on the lid but apart from that it’s in immaculate condition. Importantly, the battery is 100% ‘normal’ and has only 17 charging cycles on it. I call that virtually brand new, and for half the price. Great business. I will be back.
