I have purchased from Chesneys before and always happy with the product especially the Shoreditch Wood Burner we purchased in November 2020.We then purchased a Heat and Grill in April 2021, promised we would get it for summer, turns out after many pleas to get it for my husband's birthday in May, my son's birthday in June, family wedding in July we are now being told possibly the end of August . . . The communication has been extremely poor from the company with no reassurance if the warranty starts from date of purchase or delivery, as this makes a huge difference. Requesting summer delivery for this out door product, Chesney's retaught is " that its an all year round product" but who barbeques their Christmas lunch? I am very disappointed as seventeen months on from the pandemic, the company blames it inadequate service on Covid and Brexit. . . really?We are on the verge of cancelling as we have seen the Kamado Red wood grill which is fantastic looking has many more features, is similarly priced and available for delivery tomorrow. We also like the look of the Green Egg similar spec but far cheaper.To sum up the Chesney product is great, the communication poor, customer care non-existent, the delivery "whenever" please learn from us- think before you buy.
