We had a very negative experience with this service. Initially, our home water heater rental account was with another provider. About two years ago, this service took over the account. We were told that the arrangement would remain as a monthly rental payment of around $56, as it had been before. We provided a void cheque for automatic monthly withdrawals. Since then:• We never received any invoices• No account statements were provided• No notices or reminders were sent for missed or overdue payments• There was no communication regarding the lack of monthly withdrawals. Suddenly, without warning, this service sent an alleged amount of about $5,300 to a collection agency. This action seems completely unjustified, as the agreement was for monthly payments, not a lump sum. We were never informed that payments were not being withdrawn, nor were we given a chance to address any issues before the account went to collections. This behavior feels like harassment and has harmed our credit, despite our good payment history and willingness to pay legitimate charges. We are now pursuing this matter in Small Claims Court and requesting:• Proof of any alleged loan or financing agreement• A complete statement of account• Evidence of invoices, notices, or reminders allegedly sent to us• Justification for sending the account to collections without prior notice. Based on our experience, we advise others to be cautious when dealing with this service, as their actions seem to unfairly penalize customers and negatively affect their credit without proper communication.
