Bought a chipolo one point as the chipolo website recommended it for my model of Samsung phone. It also said it could easily be rung from the Find My Device app.But, it was oh so wrong.Pairing the chipolo one point is unreliable.The instructions are incomplete.The instructions on their website for the one point are actually for the old chipolo.I contacted the support who ignored all the information I sent to them.Ignored all the questions I asked.Just kept telling me to reset it.Then they sent a replacement.Same problem with the support as this didn't work as advertised either.Now even after following all their instructions and sending screen shots etc etc.. they have ceased to respond.This probably means they are using a support shop with just a fixed list of responses. No technical knowledge of their product at all. Completely unable to grasp the fact that their product just does not work.I so so wish I had checked out the reviews here before I purchased , because I wouldn't have gone near the product with a barge pole if I had.Update: 10th March 2025Something has changed! Thought I'd have another check of googles find my device. Both chipolos had disappeared.So, out of curiosity I pressed one of the chipolos. Hey presto , it started to connect. Different prompts popped up to before. This time asking for agreements to be agreed to reference find my device , bluetooth and location. This never happened previously, ( and was mentioned several times to chipolo support who ignored this ) .Now I have a chipolo point registered, and working, now able to play sound, locate and edit settings including the name.Let's hope it stays this way.
