As many other customers have said, Circa business practices are questionable at best. On their site where they ask you to describe your jewelry pieces, they also say that photos are "optional." I submitted my photos and description as requested.They in turn sent me 2 text messages asking 2 very different questions. The 1st was whether or not I had paperwork for my pieces. The 2nd (sent within 20 minutes of the 1st message) was to notify me that they would not be able to make me an offer based on the initial description of my items at upload.I then received a call from one of their reps confirming that I had received the text msgs and subsequent emails stating the same. I had not because I was in the process of leaving for my appointment. The irony is that when I asked the rep why they weren't able to make an offer, her explanation was based on the apparent size/weight of a single stone within any piece. I find them to be disingenuous at best b/c if photos are optional, and there is a size requirement, 1) why not state that clearly on your site so customers don't waste time taking photos and uploading them to the system, and 2) why ask if I have documentation for items that have already been described?It doesn't make sense. I'm fine with policy, however, it seems as though this company is looking for a specific clientele and brand of jewelry as other customers have stated. Their policy seems to change depending on the client or representative. Then to suggest that I submit to their "sister" company, Worthy, who clearly have their requirements stated, much the same as the "so-called" reason they gave is ridiculous. Extremely disappointing experience and a total waste of time. A complete contradiction in business practices.
