We rented a car from CITY Rent a Car in Tirana and had a very bad experience.We were clearly told that 198€ was a refundable deposit. After returning the car with no damage, they refused to return the money, claiming it was "insurance".This was never properly explained. The main contract was not even signed by us, and we did not give informed consent to purchase any insurance.This is misleading and dishonest behavior. Be very careful — they may tell you something verbally and then charge you differently.We will be reporting this case to European consumer authorities.Avoid this company.
