I would highly recommend Clarity Closings to anyone wanting to exit a timeshare…My wife and I bought, used and actually enjoyed for a while a time share, but had all along been concerned about our ability to get out when the time came – did not want ‘forever fees’ hanging over our estate if could not or did not want to travel. We tried everything to look into possible exit alternatives and were constantly frustrated. We could never get straight answers from Diamond/Hilton on how to proceed, and with the merger of Diamond into Hilton we felt we were getting even less for our membership due to a very different Hilton focus. So we tried to sell our membership, but could not get a buyer even though over time we tried several different venues. Scared and frustrated we then started to look for companies to help us find an exit, and were still a bit frustrated by their “pushy timesharish style and manner”, until finally we found Tommy Hambrough and Matt Madlinger and the crew at Clarity Closings – we liked their style – they knew the timeshare business and could “work” the maze, they were straightforward about what they could accomplish and their pricing, and promised to negotiate in a businesslike fashion on our behalf with Hilton. They told us that it would take at least 6 months, and it took about a year, but we got out without any additional fees. We had to be patient with the process, but the Clarity folks were responsive and did a good job holding our hands while we waited to hear from Hilton. We are very relieved to be out and glad we found Tommy, Matt and Team.
