I have been to CLIC three times. The school is friendly, well-organised and professional. All the teachers I had were excellent. I will go back.

A great experience despite some minor issues during my last week

My week with the program had a few irregularities, likely due to it being the final week of classes before the holiday season. Nevertheless, my overall experience was very positive. One of the highlights was staying with a wonderful host who made me feel right at home from the start. She was also an excellent cook! In our beginner class, there were only two of us, and I appreciated that our approximately 3.5 hours of lessons were delivered by three different instructors. Two of them were outstanding teachers, while the third was quite nice. After-class activities were available from Monday to Thursday, and I took part in all of them. The orientation walk in Malaga on Monday led by one of our instructors significantly enhanced our experience of the city. On Tuesday, we intended to visit the local attraction, but my guide and I found out it was closed until later in the day, so that visit didn't happen. The cathedral tour on Wednesday with a small group and a teacher from another language school was enjoyable, providing additional chances to listen and speak. The hammam experience on Thursday was fine, but it would have been much more fun if I had met up with others from the program beforehand.

A wonderful experience

There were a few inconsistencies during my week with the service, likely due to it being the final week of classes before the holiday break. Nevertheless, my overall experience was wonderful. A standout part of my week was the homestay with a lovely hostess who made me feel at home from the start. She also cooked delicious meals! In our beginner class, there were only two students, and I appreciated that our approximately 3.5 hours of lessons were led by three different instructors. Two of them were outstanding teachers, while the third was quite nice. After-class activities from Monday to Thursday were engaging, and I took part in all of them. The orientation walk on Monday, led by one of our instructors, greatly enhanced our enjoyment of the city. Tuesday's planned visit was unfortunately canceled due to the site being closed. The Wednesday cathedral tour with a small group and a guide from another school was fine for additional speaking and listening practice. The Thursday hammam experience was nice as well, but it would have been more enjoyable if the students from the service had briefly gathered beforehand.

It was a very engaging experience. I'm glad I was able to visit a city and learn more about teaching Spanish.

Outstanding and engaging instructors

The instructors were outstanding and engaging. It wasn't just a Spanish course; they also discussed culture and films to broaden our perspectives. The afternoon activities in the senior program were just wonderful, especially since I traveled alone.

A fantastic experience that sparked my interest in Spanish

It was a fantastic experience because the instructor was excellent: great interactions with the group, flexible, and created a wonderful atmosphere. I learned a lot from the content of the lessons. The organization was impressive, and the cultural component was a significant plus.

Friendly staff and enjoyable outings

The staff are very welcoming. The outings were definitely a highlight. Private lessons were beneficial, and I particularly recommend one of the instructors. In class, I would have preferred a more structured approach that included more audio resources and better adherence to the textbook curriculum. Relevant homework and weekly tests would have helped reinforce the learning.

An amazing time at the language center

I had a fantastic time at the language center. The staff were all very friendly, from the director to the lovely individuals serving food. My instructor was exceptional, and the cultural events organized by the school were both informative and enjoyable. I look forward to returning.

A fantastic local Spanish school

This is a fantastic local Spanish school situated in the city center with small class sizes of 4-8 students. I thoroughly enjoyed my two weeks there and learned a great deal, especially thanks to our passionate instructors.

Helpful and friendly instructors

The instructors were helpful and friendly. The classrooms were small and somewhat noisy, but well-equipped. The break area was nice but also small and quite loud. Despite this, I would return.
