Very easy to order; very good website. Delivered after 2 days (Belgium). Solid flap, decent quality. I tried rechargable batteries first, but they were too weak. Alkaline batteries are better. After 2 attempts, the cat's chip was recognised. It took him about 2 days to get used to his new flap (the old one was a non-electric). It is also the different sent that made the cat suspicious. It helps to clean the new flap with your usual cleaning product; the cat recognizes and trusts that sent! And indeed, when he pushes against the flapdoor, it takes hardly one second before the lock goes down and the cat can enter.So, there were actually no problems to install the flap or to program and recognize the cat's chip.Of course I cannot tell how long the 4 alkaline batteries will last; it's only one week in use.
