Have you ever wished that there was a negative rating? I never did until my experience with CloudTax. Consider this a dire WARNING to anyone considering using CloudTax for their tax filing needs: I used this company to file my taxes with the CRA last year, and they failed to file them even after taking my money. It wasn't until I tried to file my taxes this year that I discovered the issue after being notified by the CRA and had to deal with the consequences of their mistake last year. They refunded me the original amount after a year of having it and not filing my taxes. I hoped for at least twice the refund amount along with a letter acknowledging their mistake, which I believe was a fair request. I requested at least the letter; however, CloudTax never followed through. Their mistake caused me significant trouble, and I would not want anyone else to go through the same ordeal. The people who work here do not seem to take complete ownership of their mistakes. They even tried to push some of the blame on me for not notifying them of a missed Notice of Assessment, despite the fact that I am an immigrant who relied on their supposed expertise to handle my tax filing. Unfortunately, I was royally screwed in the process for placing my trust in such a company. I urge you to steer clear of CloudTax and use a more reliable and trustworthy tax preparation service like H&R Block or someone else. Using CloudTax is like playing Russian roulette – you may not end up suffering, but are you willing to take that chance?
