I joined Coach B at the Shoot Off session on Sunday. He was joined by Coach Martin and two other young aspiring coaches on training. The session was from 10:00am until 14:00pm. The age range was 7-16 years. The young people were very ready for the session, keen to learn more.The atmosphere, diversity, inclusion and most of all togetherness was amazing.Throughout the session I have to admit I wanted to join in. From the warm ups to the exercises that were given, techniques and skill sets that each and everyone of us young or old could benefit from. There are a lot of disciplines and rules to Basketball. Each taken in by all that attended. Working as a team, supporting each other and most of all making new friends. Beautiful ending to a wonderful day parents came away happy. My son who will be joining Coach B is very excited and taking part advised that he wished he had taken up basketball at an earlier age. Instead of football. As an up and coming coach he learnt a lot from the session. Coach B is an active coach. He spurs the young people on, as well as adults on with sound solid methods and teachings that he was taught in his professional career. He builds and installs resilience and confidence and guidance into everyone he encounters. This helps Coach B to be effective in his approach to learners within any capacity that they can understand. No one is left behind. With his team of upcoming coaches and more guests. I would recommend Coach B’s sessions to all ages. Coach B is in demand at present and I can see why.Coach B is available for one on one coaching, team sessions which I thoroughly recommend for the atmosphere and togetherness as stated above. Coach B, thank you so much for a fabulous session. I smiled all the way through the session. Wishing I could have joined in.You never know adult and company sessions will be available in the future.
