I gave it 4 stars because I am still getting familiar with Coddy. However, my experience so far has been really positive. The platform is very helpful and engaging. It feels more like playing a game than studying, since you learn coding through daily tasks and maintain a streak, which keeps you motivated to practice regularly.
In my opinion, Coddy becomes even more helpful if you already have a basic idea about the programming language you are going to learn there. Having some prior knowledge makes it easier to understand the exercises and get the most out of the platform.
