I found Coddy while exploring new career options. I was a chef and also a CDL license holder for most of my adult life. Now being older, I was looking for something less physical, that I can do from, pretty much anywhere, on my own schedule. I was worried that it would be too difficult. However Coddy has made it exciting. Instead of reading a book, or hearing endless lectures, Coddy gave me a real time, hands on, approach. Learn as you go. I feel, for me, this works best, though I wish they had more excerises per lesson. It still feels a bit rushed, as I don't anyways understand what is needed. Or why it's needed. A few challenges asked for content that was never taught. I found this frustrating. And no explaination of what the code did and why. I was completely new at this, with the exception of a semester in highschool of BASIC programming. Completing a challenge is reinforced by a delightful chime, and tokens to be spent at the store. This and the combination of the leaderboard, along with the gratification of solving the challenge are enough to leave me eager to attempt the next. Overall, it is fun, relaxed, and easy to follow. And I feel a sense of satifaction with each lesson completed.
