Both my classroom of 1st graders and my niece and nephew are obsessed with CodeMonkey! They love how it can start with their skill level and advance as they learn. I love watching them grow and figure out the different coding challenges independently.
I started an account and have paid for…I started an account and have paid for 3 months. My child deleted the account and I was told it could not be reactivated. I've emailed them about a refund as I've only been using the platform for 1 week and have paid $80. So far no reply about the refund. It's a shame the customer service is letting the company down as the programme itself is good and my child love it.
I enrolled for free trial and didn't use at all and cancelled same day.Still after few days I got email to confirm the account which I didn't do.Now, my money got deducted - they need to more transparent and people should pay money for subscription and content , rather than such organisation charging via these means
CodeMonkey has been an integral part of my K-5 computer science program since 2017 and is the hands down students' choice in every grade level. I loved the evolution to a more text-based format for my students who had been using colorful block coding. Over the years, I found the team at CodeMonkey to be responsive and interested in teacher input and feedback and many of the features I asked for early on have since been implemented. The on demand student access to video tutorials, the teacher access to solutions to every challenge in every component in the program, the ease of tracking student progress all make CodeMonkey the first kid-friendly (adults too!) coding software that I recommend to my colleagues. My kids loved creating their own challenges and games and the easy 24/7 access to their online accounts allowed them to share the excitement with their families! I would give more than 5 stars if it were possible!
Good product but poor customer service. There’s no way to reset your child’s progress so I emailed them to delete their account so I could recreate it. Instead they canceled my subscription. I had an annual subscription, used it for just a week, and they canceled the subscription and refunded only half the subscription cost. I tried contacting them over the next 3 weeks and several support agents replied but just left me hanging with no resolution. Ended up disputing the charge through my credit card. Won’t sign up again even though my kid enjoyed it, going to find an alternative.
