It is a shame that my relationship with Coinsbee is ending due to their technical and corporate negligence. I have been a customer for nearly 2 years and have spent over $100 on their products. However, I recently fell victim to a phishing attack operating under Coinsbee's identity.

As usual, I searched for the brand name and clicked on the first result in Google. We all know that, for most users, search engine ranking is a sign of legitimacy. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. Without noticing anything suspicious, I paid $10 for a PlayStation gift card. I didn’t suspect a thing because the site was an identical clone from top to bottom; it even featured a dedicated payment portal designed to mimic theirs perfectly.

Of course, after completing the transaction, I never received my gift card. I opened a support ticket explaining that I was a victim of brand hijacking by a site ranked higher than the official one. I asked if there was any guarantee or protection for frequent customers in these situations. The agent simply told me they are aware of the problem with Google Ads clones and that their only measure is "reporting them to Google."

I argued that relying on such a vague measure instead of implementing robust anti-phishing systems or active brand protection is professional negligence. If Coinsbee knows they have a problem with clones, manual reporting is like cutting one head off a Hydra: more will always grow back. I tried everything to get them to consider my case and offer some form of compensation for my loyalty, but their response was cold and morally disappointing.

I want to emphasize: it is not the customer's fault that Coinsbee is unable to protect its own digital identity. It is deeply disappointing that, for a $10 gift card, they chose to let a years-long customer relationship die. For anyone wondering if Coinsbee is worth it: my answer is no. It’s a pity the company shows little to no interest in protecting its customers.

14/03/26 Update

I am updating you guys with some extra comments regarding my review: after a few hours on the Coinsbee subreddit (r/Coinsbee), the same review I posted on Trustpilot was deleted by the moderators from the subreddit without an apparent reason. The direct truth, especially on these platforms, is meant to stand. Why the need to delete my review? As I mentioned before, it is a shame that Coinsbee does not care about the protection of its customers and that, even so, they choose to ignore or silence the criticism.
